Decorative Stone
Our decorative stone has a variety of uses; walkways, driveways, drainage strips and playgrounds. It is often used as an alternative to mulch in flower beds and landscape areas. Our 1/4″ desert brown stone is a popular favorite when constructing a backyard playground.

Base Materials & Fills
Base materials are those materials used for building or installing something when a good, solid, compactable, structural material is needed. It is typically used under driveways, walkways, roadways, sidewalks and buildings. The exact material used is dependent on the application and desired thickness.
Fills are used when the project does not require a solid, compactable, structural material. Fill materials are typically used under lawns and landscape areas and around buildings. The exact material used is dependent on the application and desired thickness. Below is a list of the Base and Fill materials we offer. Compost
Our compost is a grass and leaf compost that is mixed in our loam blends. It helps regenerate soils and increase nutrient content.
Sea Walls
Our large quarry stone is a valuable resource for coastal communities needing to protect sea walls and to help prevent soil erosion. The product has many uses from stabilizing embankments and to long range solutions in heavy earth projects.
Crushed Stone
All of our crushed stone comes from our facility in Weymouth, MA, making it consistent in color and hardness. Our Crushed Stone is light gray in color and meets Massachusetts Highway Departments Specifications.
For septic system projects, our crushed stone is also available in double-washed 3/8 inch or 1 1/2 inch.
Crushed stone is often used in construction projects like foundations and drainage. Other common uses are driveways and landscaping.
Mulch
Mulches are not only used to help enhance and beautify your landscape; mulches can help to retain moisture in the soil during dry seasons as well as protect plants and shrubs from frost damage.
Before applying any new product, existing mulch should be rough raked and loosened. In some cases, the existing mulch may need to be removed and replaced altogether. The total thickness of mulch is dependent on the texture of the mulch used. It should be noted that the total thickness (old and new) should not exceed 4 inches.
